Many of you have reviewed the draft bicycle route
network on-line or on paper. Now there are 2 more ways
to provide your feedback:

1) Volunteer to ride the routes as part of our formal
review process with the Washington Area Bicyclists
Association. WABA will provide you with a form for
capturing all the important info: Is the route safe?
Are there critical gaps? Are there one-way streets
going the wrong way? Missing curb ramps? Better
alternatives?

To volunteer, contact Eric Gilliland at WABA at 202
628-2500, gill@waba.org . Please be sure to indicate
the areas of DC that you are familiar with and your
availability. WABA will provide a form for collecting
comments and coordinate riders to minimize redundancy.
The route map can be found by visiting the DC Bicycle
Master Plan website at www.bikemap.com/dcbikeplan.

2) Come to the facilities committee meeting of the DC
Bicycle Advisory Council on Wednesday, December 3,
6-8pm at the Reeves Center (14th and U NW - 6th
Floor). At the meeting, we will take more time to go
over the map of proposed routes. If you have a chance
to ride some of the routes before the meeting, that
would be great.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
