"DC Hot" sandwich shop coming to 2004 P St.
Quiznos now open at 2130 P St.
Current says P St streetscape project is waiting for
spending approval from FHA, expected by late summer,
with the public not invited to provide feedback until
winter. Construction could start summer or fall of
'04, between the circle and the bridge.

WMATA sent me complete ridership statistics for the
1-year period from June 02 to May 03.
The most common destination for riders departing
from Dupont Circle is Union Station, followed by
Metro Center and Friendship Heights.
65% of all trips from Dupont are to other stations
on the Red Line. 67% of Red Line trips are between
Union Station and Bethesda.
The most common destination from Dupont requiring a
transfer is Smithsonian, followed by Pentagon City
(which is the busiest station outside of DC).

The most common destination from the U St station,
which is less than one fifth as busy as Dupont, is
also Union Station, but followed by Gallery Place and
Anacostia.
40% of all trips from U St are to other stations on
the Green Line.

condos (1444 Church St) in late 2004. Lofts 14 Two's
37 units at SW corner of 14th & Church should be ready
in winter '04/'05. Cooper Lewis will have 18 condos at
NW corner of 14th & P, ready in '04/'05. Desoto
apartments (1445 P St) should open early 2005. Project
at 1515 15th St depends on completion of Duron's new
store at 14th & Clifton, expected to start late '03.
WBJ announced new 6-story project at 1836 Columbia Rd,
to include 12 upscale apartments, a white-tablecloth
ground-floor restaurant, retail such as a hair salon
or spa on the 2nd floor, and 16 underground parking
